Have you ever read through the entire Bible in a year?! The Bible is jam packed with SO many truths, life lessons, love stories, and goodness SO much more. Many times the thought of reading through the entire Bible can be so overwhelming because sheesh there’s just so much information. Trust me, I am no theologian by any means! However, I do believe that getting to know the Bible is critical to our everyday life as believers.
Thankfully, I am not alone when it comes to not understanding every part of the bible. I’m just a human, like anyone else who simply loves Jesus and is willing to learn. And honestly, that’s all it takes: your willingness to learn and grow more. Jesus meets you in the middle, always.
For starters, when trying to understand the Bible it’s important to of course own a Bible (duhhh), but also to have a study to help you alongside of your reading so your not COMPLETELY lost (lol, me).
For the past couple of months, I’ve been studying the Bible with The Brand Sunday’s Bible Study in A Year and WOW! I am impressed and thrilled of how the Bible has come to life in a new way for me. In their Bible Study they break down scripture and ask deep questions that relate to life. I feel like the past couple of months a new love for Scripture has been birthed inside of me and I am always so excited to continue reading and learning about God and His love for us.
The more you get to know God and His love for humanity, the JOY and thankfulness you experience is OVERWHELMING.
If you have never read through the Bible before or are looking for ways to just gain new knowledge on Scripture (there’s always something to learn) I highly encourage you to look into this study! Now that 2020 is about to begin I think it’s the perfect time to start a new challenge: BIBLE IN A YEAR! A life filled with Scripture is SO enriching. Keep learning friends! I hope this post has been encouraging to you and that you are inspired to plan for success this upcoming year, 2020! Can’t wait to see what God does in each and everyone of your lives!
