Summer is quickly approaching and that means SHORTS SEASON! If you’re anything like me then finding shorts that don’t let your cheeks hang out is the struggle. #1 Fashion Rule in my books, if I’m not comfortable I’m not wearing it. And PLUS, having my cheeks out is just not the testimony I’m trying to give off. I choose to respect my body – scripture says our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), I don’t know about you but I don’t think the God that lives inside of me appreciates me letting my cheeks hang loose for all to see haha! Soooo long story short I rounded up some shorts I would personally wear that are not too revealing and are a comfortable length.
I’m not a big fan of the heat and warm weather (fall is my favorite season), but I’m excited to style a couple of these shorts 🙂 Things I keep in mind when shopping for shorts is to shop the “midi” and “bermuda” styles – this way I’m not wasting my time looking at shorty shorts lol Lots of online stores have this filter to shop midi and bermuda (ex. Aeropostale, Old Navy, Abercrombie, Nordstrom) And if you’re shopping by length – I usually go 4 1/2 inches and up. Anything shorter than that usually just rides up all the wrong places LOL!
