5 Farms to Visit in New York During the Fall Season

Fall is here and that means all the Fall activities are happening! This makes me so happy and excited. Say hello to warm apple cider and fresh farm donuts and ice cream! It’s my first year living in NY for the fall season, so I’ve done my fair share of research when finding farms to visit.

Here’s a list of farms to visit during the fall in NY:

1. Wilken’s Fruit & Fir Farm – 1335 White Hill Rd, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598 / They have pumpkins, peaches, apples, corn maze, winery and a farm market. In December they also have Christmas trees!
2. Green Meadows Farm Brooklyn – 3159 Flatbush Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11234 / If you have children this will be great for them! They have tons of activities for kids including a petting zoo!
3. Queens County Farm – 73-50 Little Neck Parkway, Queens, NY 11004 / They have pumpkin picking, apple picking, cider, donuts, pie, mazes, and hayrides.
4. Fishkill Farms – 9 Fishkill Farm Road Hopewell JCT, NY 12533 / Apple picking, pumpkin picking, donuts and cider. I would suggest making a reservation online for your desired time to visit!
5. Rose Hill Farm – 19 Rose Hill Farm, Red Hook, NY 12571 / Apple picking, pumpkin picking, donuts and cider! You can also checkout the “events” tab on their website for fun things they have going on!
