Comfortable sneakers. Quick, simple and comfortable outfits have been the go-to lately. I am definitely in a new season of life where I have taken up more responsibilities in my work place, serving, blogging and just in my everyday life in general. This means I have less time on my hands to contemplate on “what should I wear today?” If I’m not shooting content for my Instagram/blog, my style involves laid back outfits that require minimum effort (ex: jeans, graphic tees and sneakers). Comfy sneakers come in so handy when I’m just on the run (haha “on the run”). I wear my Reeboks or Adidas sneakers with literally everything. Sneakers over fancy shoes ANY DAY. They go well with any outfit, even dresses/skirts. I love having pieces in my closet I don’t have to overthink about wearing.
Rings! The only ring I wear every single day without fail is my purity ring (if I’m not wearing my purity ring I feel naked); however, recently I’ve been loving wearing multiple rings (silver or gold) with the “stacking” look. There’s so much inspiration on Pinterest, too. Elevated Faith has lovely rings with great Christian encouragement on them. Brook and York also has some really cute rings!
The off-the-shoulder trend! This summer for me has been all about off- the-shoulder blouses/tops/jumpsuits that have cute floral prints or stripes.
Bronzer. If you’ve been following me for a while you know that I’m no makeup artist by any means and my makeup is always super simple. The past couple months I’ve been all about bronzer and that “Summer Bronzed” look. I love using bronzer not only to give my face a little bit of dimension but also using it as an eyeshadow. My fave bronzer at the moment is by Physicians Formula (it smells so good).
Going along with the simple makeup feel, I’ve been picking up lip gloss over my matte lipsticks (I can’t even believe I’m saying that). I used to be all about matte lippies, but now-in-days lip gloss has been so effortless and looks so pretty! My favorite gloss at the moment is from Fenty Beauty!
