Wherever you may wear your outfit to, do you think God cares about it? When you get dressed in the morning, do you think what you wear is important to God? Do you dress in a way that solely pleases you, or others?
We, as a society, are selfish. Yes, I said it. We are living in what people call the “selfie generation.” We do what we want, say what we want, dress the way we want – we just don’t care. Jesus, on the other hand was the ultimate example of unselfishness. Jesus came to this earth and lived to bring glory to God, the Father. Don’t you think that we as God’s creation should also live to glorify God, just as Jesus did?
1 Corinthians 6:20 reveals that we ought to live to glorify our God: “For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.” I believe that no matter what we do (eat, sleep, drink, wear that cute outfit, do our hair, do our nails, etc.) it should all be done for the glory of God. YES! God does care about we wear. He cares about every little detail of our lives. He loves us to pieces.
Today, I want you to evaluate your choices. I’m not here to tell you what is acceptable to God and what isn’t. I’m here to encourage you to truly look in the mirror before you walk out of that door everyday and ask yourself, “Am I wearing this in a way that represents a pure and holy God?”
1 Corinthians 10:31, “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

God, today I pray that you would reveal to me what is pleasing to you and what isn’t. Help me no longer be swayed by the trends of this world and only be swayed by Your Holy Spirit’s guidance.
