Hi friends! Just a fun little update for ya’ll here! π This past Sunday, Jordon was installed as lead pastor of Glad Tidings in The Bronx, New York! Ahhhhh it’s real! We have been so excited the last few weeks about this new opportunity that God has presented before us. I’ve never seen Jordon more happy or fulfilled than now! Leading a church in New York City has always been a dream of his, and now its a reality! Everyday I wake up in awe of how good God has been!
A little bit about the church… Glad Tidings Assembly of God has been around for over 80 years! Right now the congregation is about 50 people. Jordon was assigned this leadership position as the church was going through a transition period and needed a new direction. The New York network saw Jordon fit for the position, so here we are! We are excited to be bringing in some young blood. We are both 25 years old (super young) yet we love Jesus so much and all we want to do is serve!

Our first mission is to get to know the people at the church/the city and start really creating a social media presence for Glad Tidings! We will be creating an Instagram page with content super soon.
GOD IS SO FAITHFUL! Now that Jordon and I are getting married we obviously need a place to live. The church has been so gracious to provide a place for Jordon and I to stay in The Bronx. It’s a beautiful one family home with so much room! My sister laughs and says there’s lots of room for future babies LOL settle down, settle down. Jordon and I are thinking we want kids in about three years when he finishes his Masters degree. π We are in no rush and just want to enjoy everything little by little. However, YES there’s about five bedrooms. We can each have office space to work from home! I won’t be moving in until after our wedding in May, but Jordon will be living in the BX! There are still lots of little things to do to the house but we will definitely be sharing some photos/videos of it in process, stay tuned!

Friends, there’s so much going on in this life and I’m trying my best to document as much as I can. Not only for our own memories, but to also share what God is doing in our lives with you all so that you would partner with us in prayer. We’re excited for what is to come, but we need help. Would you help us by keeping us in your prayers as we push this church to a new level? God is getting ready to do a new thing and we want you to be apart! Thank you for taking this journey with us!
Talk soon! xo Jen
