This past week I went wedding dress shopping with my mom, Jordon’s mom, my sister and niece and had the absolute best time! We went to VESA Brides in Nutley, NJ (@vesabrides) and had a beautiful and memorable experience! I can’t believe this is actually happening. With my wedding being under 7 months away, I’ve had to get the ball rolling quickly on lots of things! Wedding dress shopping was one of them. Dresses usually take 5-6 months to come in the mail. Veronica at VESA Brides was absolutely incredible. I think we tried on over 10 dresses and she was the sweetest and most patient with me! I love how the entire space was dedicated to my family and I (everything is by appointment).
Due to COVID, we had to keep our masks on the whole time, which was honestly a bummer because I would’ve loved to see the dress on without a mask, but we made the most of it! I will say I was definitely hot with that mask on while trying on what felt like a billion dresses LOL
The second dress I tried on, I absolutely LOVED! After that one dress I could not stop thinking about it! The fit, the train, everything was perfect! I have yet to make the big purchase because I wanted to take at least a couple of days to think about it before going forward; however, I will be returning to VESA Brides by the end of the week to try the dress on one more time and make my decision! I am SO excited! I can’t wait til’ Jordon sees it LOL I shared the photo of the dress with a couple of my close girlfriends and they were like “OMG Jordon’s going to faint” hahaha! I can’t wait to see his face!
